As of Wednesday, October 31st at 9am, 7,577 residents are still without power, which is 70% of the Township. Also, ten roads remain closed due to fallen trees and down wires. Seven of the ten roads are in residential neighborhoods. In addition, street lights are out and several traffic signal intersections are out.
Due to public safety concerns as well as the concerns expressed by many residents, Horsham Township is asking residents/families throughout our community to please postpone Trick-or-Treating until SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd. Please SPREAD THE WORD to everyone you know in Horsham Township---neighbors, friends, family, etc. Thank you for your cooperation.
We caution all parents and children to avoid any road, street or sidewalk hazards or any other storm debris and/or damage.
The Horsham Police Department will NOT be distributing candy bars in the neighborhoods from the police vehicles this year.
Have a Happy and Safe Halloween.
