Right to Know

Act 3 of 2008 is Pennsylvania's new Right-To-Know Law. On November 12, 2008, the Horsham Township Council adopted Resolution No. 2008-41 which establishes the procedure by which Horsham Township will address requests made to it for records under the Right-To-Know Law which takes effect January 1, 2009. The purpose of Horsham Township's Open Records Policy and Act 3 is to provide access to public records of Horsham Township, to preserve the integrity of the records of Horsham Township, and to minimize the financial impact to the citizens requesting public records. More information on the law can be found at the Commonwealth's Office of Open Records.
